Printing on Specialty Media 3. Insert the paper into Tray 1 (MPT), and adjust the paper guides to fit the paper. ■ The paper can be loaded with either the long or short edge entering first, as shown in the illustrations. ■ The maximum width is 216 mm (8.5 in.). ■ For single-sided printing, if you are using preprinted or prepunched paper, place the side to be printed facedown with the top of the paper entering the printer first. ■ For automatic 2-sided printing, if you are using preprinted or prepunched paper, place the first side to be printed faceup with the bottom of the page entering the printer first.
