This paper is specifically designed to maximize image quality and machine performance over a wide range of environmental conditions. * Image Series LX will change to Color Xpressions in late 1997. TRANSPARENCIES - Transparencies for this product are restricted for Western Hemisphere to 3R5765 (8.5x11"), 3R5775 (8.5x11"), 3R3108 (8.5x11"), and 3R5821 (11x17") and for Europe to 3R91331 (A4), 3R93179 (A4), and 3R93314 (A3). These can only be supported out of the bypass tray and must be loaded in the correct manner. The 3R5765 and 3R93179 premium transparencies are specifically designed to provide optimum copy quality including more vivid colors. - Use of other transparencies may cause machine damage. Continued use of transparencies other than those recommended may result in customer being placed on time and materials. Please see customer documentation for additional information. SPECIAL MATERIALS - All special materials must be run through the Bypass Tray (MSI) following the recommended steps in the Materials Usage Guide (MUG), 701P92427. Refer to this document for more details. - Recommended heavy weight papers, 32# Bond (120 gsm) to 110# Index (203 gsm) or equivalent can be run satisfactorily. However, they are not to be expected to match the performance of Xerox Image Series LX /Color Xpressions 24# Bond (90 gsm) or Colotech 90g/m2 Xerox paper. - Attempts to feed materials greater than 110# Index (203 gsm) may cause machine damage. - Recommended Xerox single step transfer material can be run satisfactorily. - Xerox copier labels can be run satisfactorily. - Xerox coated stock 32# (120 gsm) and 60# (162 gsm) (11" and 17"), that was designed for the xerographic process, can be run satisfactorily when run SEF. Coated papers should not be run with duplexing applications. Coated papers are not to be expected to match the performance of regular bond paper. - Xerox DocuPacs can be run satisfactorily (65# Cover (176 gsm) and 90# Index (163 gsm)) when run SEF. March 1997
