In PhaserMatch, the ICC profiles for Phaser printers are called "Phaser printer profiles". In PhaserMatch, the ICC profiles for other devices you wish to emulate are called "target device profiles". You can use the Phaser printer profiles and target device profiles supplied with the printer and/ or PhaserMatch. If you use the custom installation, you can select to install additional target device profiles and profiles that simulate some of the printer's built-in Phaser TekColor corrections. Use these ICC profiles to create device link profiles, and then you can modify these device link profiles. When you need to create a new TekColor correction, you need to create a device link profile. The following diagram shows the color matching elements of the software and the flow of the
software.
Creating New Device Link Profiles
In order to obtain the best results from PhaserMatch custom color corrections, a Phaser printer
and target device ICC profile should be created on fully calibrated devices. In PhaserMatch,
the ICC profiles for Phaser printers are called “Phaser printer profiles”. In PhaserMatch, the
ICC profiles for other devices you wish to emulate are called “target device profiles”.
You can use the Phaser printer profiles and target device profiles supplied with the printer and/
or PhaserMatch. If you use the custom installation, you can select to install additional target
device profiles and profiles that simulate some of the printer’s built-in Phaser TekColor
corrections. Use these ICC profiles to create device link profiles, and then you can modify
these device link profiles. When you need to create a new TekColor correction, you need to
create a device link profile.
