Specifications FLAC FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) is an open file format for lossless audio data compression. While inferior in compression rate to other lossy compressed audio formats, it can often provide higher audio quality. HDMI HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is an interface that supports both video and audio on a single digital connection. The HDMI connection carries standard to high definition video signals and multichannel audio signals to AV components such as HDMI equipped TVs, in digital form without degradation.
