Starting Up, Power Supply, Turning the Power On/Off

Starting Up Power Supply Connect the plugs of the AC adaptor in the order shown in the illustration. DC IN jack (page 14)  DC plug AC adaptor  Power cord AC outlet  AC plug The shape of the plug and outlet differ depending on the locale. WARNING Use the specified AC adaptor (page 107) only. Using the wrong AC adaptor can result in damage to the instrument or overheating. CAUTION When setting up the product, make sure that the AC outlet you are using is easily accessible. If some trouble or malfunction occurs, immediately turn the power off and disconnect the plug from the outlet. NOTE When disconnecting the power cord, first turn off the power, and then follow this procedure in reverse order. Turning the Power On/Off 1 Turn down the [MASTER VOLUME] dial to "MIN." 2 1 2 Press the [1] (Standby/On) switch to turn the power on. After the Main display appears, adjust the volume as desired while playing the keyboard. NOTICE Do not attempt any other operations, such as pressing keys, buttons or pedals. Starting Up
Connect the plugs of the AC adaptor in the order shown in the illustration.
WARNING
Use the specified AC adaptor (page 107) only. Using the wrong AC adaptor can result in damage to the instrument or
overheating.
CAUTION
When setting up the product, make sure that the AC outlet you are using is easily accessible. If some trouble or
malfunction occurs, immediately turn the power off and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
NOTE
When disconnecting the power cord, first turn off the power, and then follow this procedure in reverse order.

Turn down the [MASTER VOLUME] dial to “MIN.”

Press the [
P
] (Standby/On) switch to turn the power on.
After the Main display appears, adjust the volume as desired while playing the keyboard.
NOTICE
Do not attempt any other operations, such as pressing keys, buttons or pedals. Doing so may cause the instrument
to malfunction.

After you finish using the instrument, turn off the power by pressing the

P
] (Standby/On) switch for about a second.
