SLEEP TIMER Use this feature to automatically set this unit in the standby mode after the amount of time you have set. The sleep timer is useful when you are going to sleep while this unit is playing or recording a source. The sleep timer also automatically turns off the external component(s) connected to AC OUTLET(S). The sleep timer can only be set with the remote control. y • By connecting a commercially available timer to this unit, you can also set a wake-up timer. Refer to the operation instructions of the timer. After a few seconds, "SLEEP OFF" disappears, the "SLEEP" indicator goes off and the display returns to the previous indication. Setting the sleep timer

Select a source and start playback on the
source component.

Press SLEEP repeatedly
to set the amount of time.

Canceling the sleep timer

Press SLEEP repeatedly until
SLEEP OFF
appears on the front panel display.
After a few seconds,
SLEEP OFF
disappears, the
SLEEP
indicator goes off and the display returns
to the previous indication.
