PORTABLE GRAND 2 Change the value. Use the OVERALL +/- buttons to increase or decrease the Tempo value. Holding down either button continuously increases or decreases the value. Increases Tempo value The numeric keypad cannot be used to change values for the Overall menu settings. Decreases Tempo value 3 Turn on the Metronome. Press the METRONOME button. METRONOME 3 063TEMPO To turn the Metronome off, press the METRONOME button again. 3 063TEMPO Setting the Metronome Time Signature The time signature of the Metronome can be set to various quarter-note based meters. The time signature changes automatically when a style or song is selected. Simultaneously hold down the METRONOME button and press the button on the numeric keypad that corresponds to the desired time signature (see chart at right).
