SELECTING AND PLAYING SONGS - THE SONG MODE 2 Select the desired song number. Use the numeric keypad. Song numbers can be selected in the same way as with the voices (see page 28). You can use the numeric keypad to directly enter the song number, use the +/- keys to step up and down through the songs, or press the SONG button to advance through the song numbers. 3 Start the selected song. Press the START/STOP button. As the song plays back, the measure number and chords are shown in the display. ACMP SYNCON/OFF START START/ INTRO/ A MAIN B STOP ENDING rit. AUTO FILL 4 If you want to change to another song, repeat step 2 above. 5 Stop the song. Press the START/STOP button. If playback was started by pressing the START/STOP button, the selected song stops automatically. • You can play along with the song using the currently selected voice, or even select a different voice for playing along. Simply call up the Voice mode while the song is playing back and select the desired voice. • This function can also be controlled by using a connected footswitch. (See page 91.) CHANGING THE TEMPO The tempo of song (and style) playback can be adjusted over a range of 32 - 280 bpm (beats per minute). 1 Select the Tempo function in the Overall menu. Press one of the OVERALL v/w buttons, repeatedly if necessary, until "Tempo" appears in the display. Indicates Tempo is selected Current Tempo value TEMPO 205Tempo SONG 76 74
