PREPARATION Connecting the power cable Once all connections are complete, plug the power cable into the AC wall outlet. Power cable CONNECTIONS Turning on the power When all connections are complete, turn on this unit. VOLTAGE SELECTOR (Asia and General models only) The VOLTAGE SELECTOR on the rear panel of this unit must be set for your local voltage BEFORE plugging the power cable into the AC wall outlet. Improper setting of the VOLTAGE SELECTOR may cause damage to this unit and create a potential fire hazard. Select the switch position (upper or lower) according to your local voltage using a straight slot screwdriver. Voltages are 110-120/220-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. STANDBY /ON POWER or Front panel Remote control Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel again (or press STANDBY on the remote control) to set this unit to the standby mode. Memory back-up The memory back-up circuit prevents the stored data from being lost even if this unit is in the standby mode.
