Ⅵ Optional outdoor AM antenna In steel buildings or at a great distance from the transmitter, it may be necessary to install an outside long wire antenna. GND terminal For maximum safety and minimum interference, connect the GND terminal to a good earth ground. A good earth ground is a metal stake driven into moist earth. CONNECTIONS TO THE AMPLIFIER q Before making any connections, switch OFF the power to this unit and the amplifier or other component. q Be sure that the connections from the left ("L") and right ("R") OUTPUT terminals are connected to the corresponding (left and right) input terminals of the amplifier or other component.
