Display (10) 1 2 3 5 4 The display shows the following information: 1 Child safety lock This device permits you to leave the appliance unattended during it's functioning. When you set the «proportional» programmes, the display shows the wash duration of the maximum load. After you press the button 7 , the arrows animation appears to indicate that the appliance calcu- 2 lates the laundry amount and the real duration. During this time, the washing duration shown decreases. When the appliance finishes to calculate, the arrows animation disappears. The washing time is ad- justed to the real load. Duration of the selected programme After you set a programme, the duration is displayed in hours and minutes (for example ). The duration is calculated automatically on the maximum load for each type of fabric. After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute. Delayed start The delay set appears for a few seconds, then the display show again the duration of the set programme. The delay time value decreases by one unit every hour and then, when 1 hour remains, every minute. 3 Alarm codes In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be displayed, for example (see paragraph «What to do if...»). Incorrect option selection If you set an option not compatible with the set wash programmed, the display shows the message Err for a few seconds. The light of button 7 starts flashing with red colour. End of programme When the programme has finished, a flashing zero ( ) appears. The light 9 and the light of button 7 go out. The door can be opened. Washing programme phase icons When you set the wash programme, the icons corresponding to the different phases making up that 4 programme appear on the display. After you have pressed button 7, the only running phase icon stays on. When the programme has finished, the display shows three flashing zero (0.00). www.zanussi.com 7
