Chapter 22 CWMP Table 92 Advanced > CWMP (continued) LINK DESCRIPTION Connection Request Use this part of the screen to allow the management server to connect to the ZyXEL Device after a successful login. Path Type the IP address or domain name of the ZyXEL Device. The management server uses this path to verify the ZyXEL Device. Port The default port for access to the ZyXEL Device from the management server is port 7547. If you change it, make sure it does not conflict with another port on your network and it is recommended to use a port number above 1024 (not a commonly used port). The management server should use this port to connect to the ZyXEL Device. You may need to alter your NAT port forwarding rules if they were already configured. UserName The user name is used to authenticate the management server when connecting to the ZyXEL Device. Type a user name of up to 255 printable characters found on an Englishlanguage keyboard. Spaces and characters such as are allowed. Password The password is used to authenticate the management server when connecting to the ZyXEL Device. Type a password of up to 255 printable characters found on an Englishlanguage keyboard. Spaces are not allowed. Periodic Inform Select Activated to have the ZyXEL Device periodically send information to the management server (recommended if CWMP is enabled) or select Deactivated to not have the ZyXEL Device periodically send information to the management server Interval The interval is the duration in seconds for which the ZyXEL Device must attempt to connect with the management server to send information and check for configuration updates. Enter a value between 1 and 86400 seconds. Apply Click this to save your changes. Cancel Click this to restore your previously saved settings. ADSL Router Series User's Guide 261
