Chapter 4 Device Information service is disabled, there must be another DHCP server, or else the computer must be manually configured. Click Device Info > DHCP to display the following screen. This is only available when the ZyXEL Device's DHCP server function is enabled. The DHCP table shows current DHCP client information (including IP Address, Host Name and MAC Address) of all network clients using the ZyXEL Device's DHCP server. Figure 20 Device Info > DHCP The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 11 Device Info > DHCP LABEL DESCRIPTION Host Name This field displays the computer host name. MAC Address The MAC (Media Access Control) or Ethernet address on a LAN (Local Area Network) is unique to your computer (six pairs of hexadecimal notation). IP Address Expires In A network interface card such as an Ethernet adapter has a hardwired address that is assigned at the factory. This address follows an industry standard that ensures no other adapter has a similar address. This field displays the IP address assigned to the DHCP client.
