Matching Transmitter(s) To Your Ehicle Each key chain transmitteris coded toprevent another transmitter from unlocking yourvehicle. If a transmitteris lost or stolen, a replacement can be purchased through your dealer. Rememberbring the remaining to transmitter with you when you go to your dealer. When the dealer matches the replacement transmitter to your vehicle, the remaining transmitter mustalso be matched. Oncethe new transmitter is coded, the lost transmitterwill not unlock your vehicle. You can match a transmitter as many different vehicles as you own, to provided they are equippedwith exactly the same model system. (General Motors offersseveral different modelsof these systems on theirvehicles.) Each vehicle can have only 2 transmitters matched to it. See your dealer match transmitters to another to vehicle. Battery Replacement Under normal use, the batteries your key chain transmitter should last in about two years. You can tell the batteries are if the transmitterwon't work at the weak normal rangein any location.
