Move the lever up as far as it will go. 3. With your rightfoot still holdingthe brake pedal down, set the parking brake. 4. Move the ignition key to "Lock." 5. Remove the key and take it with you.If you can walk awayfrom your ''P" vehicle withthe ignition key in yourhand, your vehicle is in (Park). Console Shift Lever 1.
