OFF ROAD RECOVERY OUARTERTURN SLOW DOWN edge of paved surface PASSING The driver of a vehicleabout to pass another on a two-lane highway waits for just the right moment, accelerates, moves around the vehicle ahead, then goes backinto theright lane again. A simple maneuver? Not necessarily! Passinganother vehicle on a two-lanehighway is a potentially dangerous move, sincethe passing vehicle occupies same the lane as oncoming traffic several seconds.
