Rain and wet roads can mean driving trouble. On a wetroad you can't stop, accelerate or turnas well because your tire-to-road traction isn't as good as on dry roads. And, if your tires don't have much tread left, you'll get even lesstraction. It's always wise go slowerand be cautious if rain to starts to fall while youare driving. The surface may get wet suddenly when your reflexes tuned for driving on dry pavement. are The heavier the rain, the harder it is to see. Evenif your windshield wiper blades are in goodshape, a heavy rain can make harder to see road it signs and traffic signals, pavement markings, edge of the road, and the even people walking. It's wiseto keep your wipingequipment in goodshape and keep your windshield washertank filled. Replace your windshield wiper inserts of when they show signs streaking or missing areas on the windshield, or when strips of rubber start to separate from the inserts. 190
