Once the tapeis playing,use the upper and lower knobs to adjust the volume and balance, just as you do for the radio. Push the upperknob to change tape direction. The arrow in the display show which direction the tapeis being played. F W I (Forward) Push the FWD button to move forward rapidly to another partof the tape. The radio will playduring fast forward. To stop the tape push the same button and the tapewill start toplay again. REV (Reverse) Push the REV button move the taperapidly backward.To stop the to tape, push the same button lightly or any of the otherbuttons. The radio will playduring this reverse function. To go from one side of the tape to the other, inthe upperknob on push your radio. To remove the tape,push EJCT The tapecan be ejected when the ignition isturned off. NEXT Push the NEXT button up to jumpquickly to thenext selection.If the selection is at theend of the tape, the tapewill reverse directions and begin playingat a normal speed. PREV Push the PREV button to quickly goto thebeginning of the last up selection. If the player has played lessthan 10 seconds into the current selection, depressing the PREV button cause the player to find the beginning of will the previous selection and resume play from that point. If the player is more than10 seconds into the current selection, pressing PREV button will cause the player to find the beginning of the currentselection and resume play from that point. If PREV is issued while first selectionon the the tapeis being played, player will return to the beginning of that the side of the tape. 167
