Trunk Lock To unlock the trunk from the outside, insert the door key and turn it. You can also use the remote keyless entry transmitter (if equipped). Just press the trunk symbol on the transmitter, making sure your shift lever is in PARK (P). Trap-Resistant Trunk Kit To help prevent a child from becoming trapped in your trunk, you can order a trap-resistant trunk kit from your dealer. This kit includes: Remote Trunk Release (Option) Press the button under the instrument panel on the driver's side. Your shift lever must be in PARK (P) for the remote trunk release button to work. D a modified trunk latch, D a lighted release handle, and D seatback tethers (for vehicles with folding rear seatbacks). See your dealer for additional information.
