LOCKING AND UNLOCKING 49 Armed stage Park the vehicle and stop the engine. Arm the system as described below. Arm the system and leave. 3. Make sure the trunk lid is locked. After completion of the steps above, the theft-alarm indicator (located in the instrument cluster) will illuminate for approximately 20 seconds and then go out, indicating that the system is armed.
