Driver Controls Warning display Status Door ajar Will not clear until condition is corrected Reduced engine power Stop engine safely Check electronic throttle control or engine fail safe mode Park brake engaged PARK ASSIST ON/OFF (if equipped). Displayed when the transmission is in R (Reverse) and the Backup Aid is disabled. Refer to Backup Aid in this section to enable. CHECK PARK ASSIST (if equipped). Displayed when the transmission is in R (Reverse) and the Backup Aid is disabled. Refer to Backup Aid in this section to enable. ADVTRAC ON (if equipped). Displayed when the AdvanceTrac with RSC is ON. ADVTRAC OFF (if equipped). Displayed when the AdvanceTrac with RSC is OFF. DOOR AJAR. Displayed when a door is not completely closed. LIFTGATE OR LIFTGLASS AJAR. Displayed when the liftgate or liftgate glass is not completely closed. CHECK ENGINE TEMPERATURE. Displayed when the engine coolant is overheating. Stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible, turn off the engine and let it cool. Check the coolant and coolant level. Refer to Engine coolant in the Maintenance and Specifications chapter. If the warning stays on or continues to come on, contact your dealer as soon as safely possible. REDUCED ENGINE POWER. Displayed when the engine is overheating. Stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible, turn off the engine. If the warning stays on or continues to come on, contact your dealer as soon as safely possible. CHECK ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL or ENGINE FAIL SAFE MODE. Displayed when the engine has defaulted to a "limp-home" operation. If the warning stays on or continues to come on, contact your dealer as soon as possible. STOP ENGINE SAFELY. Displayed when the engine is overheating. Stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible, turn off the engine.
