To Check Brake Fluid You can checkthe brake fluid without taking the cap. Just look at the off windows on the brake fluid reservoir. The fluid levelsshould be above MIN. If they aren't, haveyour brake system checked to see there is a leak. if After work is doneon the brake hydraulic system, make sure the levels are above MIN and below the top of each window. What to Add When you do need brake fluid, use only DOT-3 brake fluid- such as (GM Part No. 1052535).Use new brake fluid from a Delco Supreme 11 sealed containeronly, and always clean brake fluid reservoir cap before the removing it. @ NOTICE: Don't let someone in the wrong kind of fluid. For put example, just a few drops of mineral-based oil, suchas engine oil, in your brake system can damage brake system parts so badly that they'll haveto be replaced.
