SUNROOF (if so equipped) To open or close the sunroof part way, push the switch in any direction while the sunroof is sliding to stop it in the desired position. Restarting the sunroof switch The sunroof switch may not operate properly after the battery terminal is disconnected, the electrical supply interrupted and/or some malfunction is detected. Use the following reset procedure to return sunroof operation to normal. 1. If the sunroof is open, close it fully by repeatedly pushing the side of the sunroof switch. 2. Push and hold the side of the sunroof switch to tilt the sunroof up. 3. Release the sunroof switch after the sunroof moves slightly up and down. 4. Push and hold the side of the sunroof switch to fully tilt the sunroof down. 5. Check if the sunroof switch operates normally. If the sunroof still does not operate properly, have the sunroof system checked, and if necessary repaired, by a NISSAN dealer. Tilting the sunroof Close the sunroof by pushing the switch 2 . Release the switch, then push toward 2 again to tilt the sunthe switch toward roof up. To tilt the sunroof down, push the switch 1 . toward WARNING LIC0977 AUTOMATIC SUNROOF The sunroof will only operate when the ignition key is in the ON position. The automatic sunroof is operational for about 45 seconds, even if the ignition key is turned to the ACC or OFF position. If the driver's door or the front passenger's door is opened during this period of about 45 seconds, power to the sunroof is canceled. ● In an accident you could be thrown from the vehicle through an open sunroof. Always use seat belts and child restraints. ● Do not allow anyone to stand up or extend any portion of their body out of the sunroof opening while the vehicle is in motion or while the sunroof is closing. 1. Ifthesunroofisopen,closeitfullybyrepeat-
edly pushing the
side of the sunroof
switch.
2. Pushandholdthe
sideofthesunroof
switchtotiltthesunroofup.
3. Releasethesunroofswitchafterthesunroof
movesslightlyupanddown.
4. Pushandholdthe
sideofthesunroof
switchtofullytiltthesunroofdown.
5. Check if the sunroof switch operates nor-
mally.
Ifthesunroofstilldoesnotoperateproperly,have
the sunroof system checked, and if necessary
repaired,byaNISSANdealer.
Autoreversefunction(whenclosingor
tiltingdownthesunroof)
Theautoreversefunctioncanbeactivatedwhen
thesunroofisclosedortilteddownbyautomatic
operation when the ignition key is in the ON
