Maintenance and service Replacing bulbs J Headlight CAUTION Halogen headlight bulbs become very hot while in use. If you touch the bulb surface with bare hands or greasy gloves, finger prints or grease on the bulb surface develop into hot spots, causing the bulb to break. If there are finger prints or grease on the bulb surface, wipe them away with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol. Rubber cover Retainer spring Electrical connector OM-H0243 OM-H0261 1. Disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the rubber cover. 2. Remove the retainer spring. 3. Replace the bulb, then set the retainer spring securely. 4. Install the rubber cover with the top mark facing up, then reconnect the electrical connector. - CONTINUED - 10-51

Headlight
CAUTION
Halogen headlight bulbs become very hot while in use. If you

ing the bulb to break. If there are finger prints or grease on the
bulb surface, wipe them away with a soft cloth moistened with al-
cohol.

1.
Disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the rubber cover.
2.
Remove the retainer spring.
3.
Replace the bulb, then set the retainer spring securely.
4. Install the rubber cover with the top mark facing up, then reconnect
the electrical connector.
