Doors and locks The keyless entry system has following functions. D Locking and unlocking the doors (and rear gate on the wagon) without a key D Arming and disarming the security system (if your vehicle is equipped with an optional security system). See the next section "Security system (if equipped)" for detailed information. The receiver inside your vehicle's keyless entry system and the remote control transmitters are designed together to have an average operating range of 25 to 50 feet (8 to 15 meters) during ideal conditions. Although at times you may experience range greater than that, there may be occasions when range is less than normal. Atmospheric conditions or interference from other RF-emitting devices can effectively reduce transmitter range. J System operation Keyless entry functions do not operate when vehicle ignition is "ON". HS1000BB B Locking the doors Press the "LOCK" button to lock all doors (and the rear gate on the wagon).
