2.12 Onboard Headers and Connectors Onboard headers and connectors are NOT jumpers. Do NOT place jumper caps over these headers and connectors. Placing jumper caps over the headers and connectors will cause permanent damage of the motherboard! FDD connector (33-pin FLOPPY1) (see p.14 No. 33) the red-striped side to Pin1 Note: Make sure the red-striped side of the cable is plugged into Pin1 side of the connector. Serial ATA2 Connectors (SATA2_2_3: see p.14, No. 15) (SATA2_4_5: see p.14, No. 16) SATA2_4 SATA2_2 SATA2_5 SATA2_3 These four Serial ATA2 (SATA2) connectors support SATA data cables for internal storage devices. The current SATA2 interface allows up to 3.0 Gb/s data transfer rate. SATA3_1 SATA3_A2 SATA3_0 SATA3_A1 Serial ATA3 Connectors (SATA3_A1_A2: see p.14, No. 13) (SATA3_0_1: see p.14, No. 14) These four Serial ATA3 (SATA3) connectors support SATA data cables for internal storage devices. The current SATA3 interface allows up to 6.0 Gb/s data transfer rate. If the eSATA3 port on the rear I/O has been connected, the internal SATA3_A2 will not funtion.
