Super IO Device configuration Serial Port1 Address/ Serial Port2 Address: This option specifies the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request address of Serial Port 1 and Serial Port 2. Select Disabled to prevent the serial port from accessing any system resources. When this option is set to Disabled, the serial port physically becomes unavailable. Select 3F8/IRQ4 to allow the serial port to use 3F8 as its I/O port address and IRQ 4 for the interrupt address. ACPI configuration Figure 10-1. ACPI configuration Use this feature to configure Advanced configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) power management settings for your system. ACPI Aware O/S: Select Yes to enable ACPI support for an operating system that supports ACPI. Select No to disable ACPI support for an OS that does not support ACPI. ACPI Version Features: The options are ACPI v1.0, ACPI v2.0 and ACPI v3.0. Please refer to ACPI's website for further explanation: http:// www.acpi.info/. ACPI APIC Support: Select Enabled to include the ACPI APIC Table Pointer in the RSDT pointer list. NOTE: Only available when ACPI is enabled on an ACPI-aware operating system.
