Freestanding appliance The dryer may be placed adjacent to a washing machine. If the friction between the dryer feet and the floor is not sufficient, the dryer may move during operation. To prevent sliding, use a non-slide mat or install the supplied vacuum feet onto both front feet. Clearance between the dryer and the wall 100 mm (4") 50 mm (2") 100 mm (4") The appliance may not be in contact with a wall or adjacent furniture. For optimum dryer operation, observe the clearance from the wall as shown in the figure. Opening the dryer door (top view) 1074 mm (42.3" or 42 9/32") 480 mm (19") Place the dryer so that it is stable. Use a spirit level to level the dryer horizontally and vertically by 176° rotating the adjustable feet using a No. 22 (0.87") spanner (max. 15 mm (0.59")).
