4. BIOS SETUP 4.5.1 Power Up Control 4. BIOS SETUP Power Up Control AC PWR Loss Restart [Disabled] This allows you to set whether you want your system to reboot after the power has been interrupted. [Disabled] leaves your system off and [Enabled] reboots your system. [Previous State] sets your system back to the state it is before the power interruption. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] [Previous State] PWR Up On external Modem Act [Disabled] This allows either settings of [Enabled] or [Disabled] for powering up the computer when the external modem receives a call while the computer is in Soft-off mode. NOTE: The computer cannot receive or transmit data until the computer and applications are fully running. Thus connection cannot be made on the first try. Turning an external modem off and then back on while the computer is off causes an initialization string that will also cause the system to power on. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Wake On LAN or PCI Modem card [Disabled] Wake-On-LAN or a PCI modem card prermits PC bootup from another computer via a network by sending a wake-up frame or signal. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Wake On PS2 KB / PS2 Mouse [Disabled] Wake On PS2 KB / PS2 Mouse permits PC bootup from the keyboard or mouse.
