3. Serial ATA connectors (7-pin SATA1, SATA2) These connectors are for the Serial ATA signal cables for Serial ATA 3.0 Gb/s hard disk drives. If you installed Serial ATA hard disk drives, you can can create a RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD configuration through the onboard VIA VT8237S RAID controller. Refer to the RAID controllers user manual in the motherboard support CD for detailed information on RAID configurations. See section "3.2.5 Manuals menu". Digital Audio connector (4-1 pin SPDIF_OUT) This connector is for the S/PDIF audio module to allow digital sound output. Connect one end of the S/PDIF audio cable to this connector and the other end to the S/PDIF module.
