Chapter 1 1.8 Onboard LEDs 1. Standby Power LED The Standby Power LED lights up to indicate that the system is ON, in sleep mode, in soft-off mode, or connected to a power source. This is a reminder that you should shut down the system and unplug the power cable before removing or plugging in any motherboard component. 2. Location LED The Location LED lights up when the Location button on the server is pressed or when triggered by a system management software.
