20. Serial General Purpose Input/Output connector The Serial General Purpose Input/Output (SGPIO) connector allows you to connect the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise SGPIO interface. The SGPIO interface controls the LED pattern generation, device information, and general purpose data. Chapter 1 21. MicroSD card slot (Pro WS C621-64L SAGE/10G only) The microSD card slot allows you to install a microSD memory card v2.00 (SDHC) / v3.00 (SDXC) to log BMC events. Disconnect all power (including redundant PSUs) from the existing system before you add or remove a memory card, then reboot the system to access the memory card. • Some memory cards may not be compatible with your motherboard. Ensure that you use only compatible memory cards to prevent loss of data, damage to your device, or memory card, or both. • The MicroSD Slot is only supported with BMC Function and not supported for normal use under the OS. 1-32 Chapter 1: Product Introduction

Serial General Purpose Input/Output connector

The Serial General Purpose Input/Output (SGPIO) connector allows you to connect

the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise SGPIO interface. The SGPIO interface

controls the LED pattern generation, device information, and general purpose data.

MicroSD card slot (Pro WS C621-64L SAGE/10G only)

The microSD card slot allows you to install a microSD memory card v2.00 (SDHC) /

v3.00 (SDXC) to log BMC events.

Disconnect all power (including redundant PSUs) from the existing system before you add

or remove a memory card, then reboot the system to access the memory card.

Some memory cards may not be compatible with your motherboard. Ensure that you

use only compatible memory cards to prevent loss of data, damage to your device, or

memory card, or both.
