14. Fan connector The Fan connector allows you to connect fans to cool the system. Chapter 1 • DO NOT forget to connect the fan cables to the fan connectors. Insufficient air flow inside the system may damage the motherboard components. These are not jumpers! Do not place jumper caps on the fan connectors! • Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the connector. The fan connectors support a maximum of 1A (12W) fan power.
