Optical drive cover thickness and length The thickness of the optical drive front panel cover should be less than or equal to 7 millimeters and the length of the drive should be less than or equal to 208 millimeters. 208mm ↓ ↓ ↓ Installing a new optical drive To install a new optical drive: 1. Lay the storage drive assembly upside down on a flat surface. 2. Insert the optical drive to the bay upside down. 3. Push the drive into the bay until their screw holes align. 7mm 2 4. Chapter 2: Basic installation
Optical drive cover thickness and length
The thickness of the optical drive front panel cover should be less than or
equal to 7 millimeters and the length of the drive should be less than or
equal to 208 millimeters.
Installing a new optical drive
To install a new optical drive:
1.
Lay the storage drive assembly
upside down on a flat surface.
2.
Insert the optical drive to the
bay upside down.

4.
Secure the optical drive with two
screws on both sides of the bay.
3.
Push the drive into the bay until
their screw holes align.
