3.6 Advanced menu The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other system devices. Be cautious when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items. Incorrect field values can cause the system to malfunction. 3.6.1 Platform Misc Configuration The items in this menu allow you to change the ASPM for PCH and SA PCI Express. 3.6.2 CPU Configuration The items in this menu show the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically detects. The items in this menu may vary based on the CPU installed. CPU - Power Management Control This item allows you to manage and configure the CPU's power. Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) This item allows more than two frequency to be supported. Configuration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled] Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology This item allows you to enable or disable the Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology support. When enabled, CPPC v2 interface allows hardware controlled P-states. Configuration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled] CPU C states This item allows you to set the power saving of the CPU states.
