Maintenance and Care Troubleshooting Problem What to do Speaker will not turn on (AC power) • Make sure your system is connected to a working AC (mains) outlet. • Make sure you are using the Bose power supply that shipped with your speaker, or a Bose accessory charger designed for the Soundlink® mini speaker. • Make sure you are using the Bose power supply that shipped with your speaker, or a Bose accessory charger designed for the Soundlink® mini speaker. Speaker will not turn on (battery power) • Battery may be in protection mode or discharged. Connect to working AC outlet to restore the battery to operational mode. Paired Bluetooth device will not connect to the speaker • If your device requires a passcode, make sure the one you entered is correct. • Make sure Bluetooth functionality is turned on or enabled on your source device. • Your Bluetooth device may be out of range-try moving it closer to the speaker. • If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality. • Reset the speaker. Press the Mute button for ten seconds, until the indicators briefly flash. Your Bluetooth device is disconnected and the SoundLink® Mini speaker turns off. Press the Power button to turn the speaker back on, and reconnect. • Clear the speaker memory (see "Clearing memory" on page 15). Pair the Bluetooth device and the speaker again. • Turn the power off and back on, and reconnect. English - 23
