Installing the Brother Software 1 Insert the Brother CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. 2 The Software Installation program appears automatically when you insert the Brother CD-ROM. s If the Software Installation program doesn't appear automatically, select Start from the desktop, Run and then enter x:\SETUP.EXE. ("x" is the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive.) A window will appear listing the options: 3 Install the Software. Click on Install Scanner Driver to install the driver software. You must install this driver in order to scan the data on the whiteboard. Click on Install PaperPort® Software to install the PaperPort® software application. If you have previously installed PaperPort® Software, do not re-install it. You can use the PaperPort® software that you already have on your PC. When installing both the Scanner Driver and PaperPort® Software, be sure to install the Driver software first, then the PaperPort® Software. After all installations are complete, restart your computer.
