Sending Images to a Smartphone from the Camera (3) Using the NFC Function to Send Images During Image Playback By touching an NFC-compatible smartphone to the camera while playing back an image on the camera, you can establish a Wi-Fi connection automatically and send the image to the smartphone even if a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection has not been established beforehand. 1 Play back the image.  Press the button to play back images. 2 Touch a smartphone to the camera.  Touch the p mark on the smartphone to that on the camera so that they come into contact with each other.  When a message indicating the established connection is displayed on the camera's LCD monitor, move the smartphone away. 3 Select an image to send.  Turn the dial to select an image to send, then press .  By pressing the button and turning the dial counterclockwise, you can switch to index display and select an image.  To send multiple images, see the operations from page 47 and onward. 45

Sending Images to a Smartphone from the Camera
By touching an NFC-compatible smartphone to the camera while
playing back an image on the camera, you can establish a Wi-Fi
connection automatically and send the image to the smartphone even if
a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection has not been established beforehand.
