3 Remove the new cartridge from Its protective bag. z_ NOTE Save the protective bag. You rnay need it later when you remove the cartridge from the machine. 4 Rock the cartridge 5 or 6 Umes to distribute the toner evenly. 5 Place the cartridge on a flat and stable surface. Fold the lab (A) on the sealing tape (B) as shown below, and pull It out straight while supporting the cartridge. Make sure that the tab itself is detached from the cartridge. d_ 0 IMPORTANT To avoid breaking the tape, do riot pull out the tape at an upward or downward angle. 8-7
