4 Turn the Power On 1 2 345 6 7 8 1 2 A 2 1 B 3 4 C D OK Plug the power cord into the left side of the machine, then connect the other end to the wall outlet. Turn on the machine (A). Use the [ or ] button (C) on the Operation Panel to select the language for the LCD, then press the OK button. The standby screen is displayed. • Do NOT connect the USB cable at this stage. • Make sure that the Document Cover (B) is closed. • If an unintended language is displayed on the LCD, press the Back button (D) to return to the Language selection screen.

Turn the Power On
Plug the power cord into the left side of
