Shooting Various Movies Still Images Movies Shooting Movies in Movie Mode Still Images Movies 1 Enter [ ] mode. ●●Set the mode dial to [ ]. ●●Black bars are displayed on the top and bottom edges of the screen, and the subject is slightly enlarged. The black bars indicate image areas not recorded. 2 Configure the settings to suit the movie (=125). 3 Shoot. ●●Press the movie button. ●●To stop movie recording, press the movie button again. Locking or Changing Image Brightness before Shooting Still Images Movies Before recording, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop increments within a range of −2 to +2 stops. 1 Lock the exposure. ●●Press the [ ] button to lock the exposure. The exposure shift bar is displayed. ●●To unlock the exposure, press the [ ] button again. 2 Adjust the exposure. ●●Turn the [ ] dial to adjust the exposure, as you watch the screen. 3 Shoot (=57).
