Before Using Wireless LAN OO This product is embedded with a wireless device. The model numbers are CD1100 and CD1107 (including WLAN module model WM317). OO Countries and Regions Permitting WLAN Use -- Use of WLAN is restricted in some countries and regions, and illegal use may be punishable under national or local regulations. To avoid violating WLAN regulations, visit the Canon website to check where use is allowed. Note that Canon cannot be held liable for any problems arising from WLAN use in other countries and regions. OO You can be penalized for the following actions. -- Disassembling or modifying this product -- Removing the certification label on this product OO Parts within this product that are classified as strategic materials (or services) according to the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act require the export license (or permission for service transactions) from the Japanese government to be exported outside Japan. OO This product cannot be exported to or taken to US embargoed countries since this product includes encryption software developed in the US and is subject to US export administration regulations. OO Be sure to note down the settings of your wireless LAN. The wireless LAN setting registered in this product may be corrupted or lost due to a malfunction, interfering radio waves, static electricity, an accident, or failure. Note down and keep the wireless LAN settings just in case.
