English Positioning the speakers The Reference needs a wall distance from 20 centimeter (7.9 inch) to 1 meter (3 feet) and an angle of 0° to 5° inwards. Decide for yourself which position pleases you best. The „stereo triangle" is a good rule of guidance for optimum positioning of your new Canton speakers (Fig. 1). This means that the best performance is usually obtained when the two speakers and your favourite listening position lies at the corners of an equilateral triangle. For decoupling the speakers from the floor your Reference K are provided with adjustable feet (Fig. 2). Those can be screwed in the tapped holes in the base plate.
