To remove the ink ribbon cassette

7. Close the cassette cover. • Press down on the cassette cover until you hear it click securely into place. To remove the ink ribbon cassette 1. Press to turn off the printer. 2. Press the cassette cover release and open the cover. 3. Grasping both sides of the adaptor, lift it straight up. 4. Remove the ink ribbon cassette from the adaptor. Storing a Partially Used Ink Ribbon Cassette Remove the ink ribbon cassette from the adaptor and install a stopper on it. Place the cassette into its plastic bag, and then into its box. Store it where it will not be exposed to dirt and dust. Insert the ink ribbon cassette adaptor into the storage space shown below.
