Using Lag Correction (Lag Correction) The Lag Correction function lets you correct for the lag time from the point you decide to shoot until the point it takes for the shutter to actually release. This feature actually does not speed up shutter release, but instead it pre-records images when you halfpress the shutter button and saves what occurred slightly before you press the shutter button. 1. In the REC mode, press [SET]. 2. Use [8] and [2] to select the third control panel option from the bottom (Lag Correction). 3. Use [4] and [6] to select the lag correction time you want and then press [SET]. You can select a correction time of "-0.1", "-0.2", or "-0.3" seconds. Select "Ó Off" to disable lag correction. 4. Half-press the shutter button. This starts pre-recording in accordance with the correction time you selected in step 3. 5. When you want to record, press the shutter button the rest of the way down.
