How to Add New Remote Controls For other family members, you can use up to 8 remote controls with your Astra system. You may purchase additional 8 or 16 channel remote controls from any Authorized Clifford Dealer or directly from the Clifford factory using the order card attached to the back cover of this manual. To add the new remote control(s) to your Astra system, simply perform steps 2-4 of the section How to Program the House Code on page 11. How to Delete the Codes of a Lost or Stolen Remote Control If you wish to delete the codes of a lost or stolen remote control from the Astra system memory, doing so is easy: Simply perform steps 2-4 of the section How to Program the House Code on page 11. Repeat these steps a total of eight times. If you are using two remote controls with your Astra system, perform the steps 4 times with each. If you are using more than two remote controls, perform steps 2-4 so that the total adds up to 8.
