Appliance module:May be used to control an individual appliance, electric garage door (you will also need a garage door/electric gate adaptor), florescent lamp, electric gate (you will also need a garage door/electric gate adaptor), multi-bulb lighting fixture or other electronic device that is rated at or less than 500 watts (the wattage rating of a device will be noted either on the device itself or in its owner's manual). DO NOT USE AN APPLIANCE MODULE to control either a coffee-maker,room air conditioner, electricheater or other electronic device that is rated above 500 watts. Appliance Module High-power wall outlet module: If you wish to control an item that is rated above 500 watts, you will need a high-power wall outlet module that replaces any standard electrical wall outlet. The wall outlet module may be used with any electronic device that would normally plug into a wall outlet, including high-wattage items like room air conditioners, coffee-makers, electric heaters, microwave ovens, etc. Ifyou intend to use a wall outlet module, check the circuit breaker rating at your fusebox. The breaker must be rated at 15 amps or less. Be sure to TURN OFF POWER at your home's fusebox before you remove the standard outlet. KEEP POWER OFF until the wall outlet module is fully wired and secured in the wall. If
you

module
that
replaces

The
wall
outlet
module
may

used
with
