Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad. 3. Remove the heatspreader. 4. Remove the keyboard. 5. Remove the hard drive. 6. Remove the display panel assembly. 7. Remove the Upper CPU cover. 8. Remove battery charger board. 9. Remove the diskette drive. Next Step When replacing the diskette drive, ensure that the diskette NOTE: drive eject lever is properly inserted in the chassis slot.
