5. Release the top edge of the keyboard by lifting it up to disengage the keyboard from the tabs on the top cover (1). 6. Slide the top edge of the keyboard back (2) until it rests against the display. 7. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached and disconnect the keyboard cable (2) from the system board. 8. Remove the keyboard.
