This Integration Note details the migration process using SmartStart for Servers (Assisted Integration) that assists you in the setup, configuration, and installation of your UnixWare 7.1 system. More specifically, the major benefits of SmartStart include the following: • Auto-detects and configures the Compaq server hardware and options • Ensures installation of the correct Compaq drivers • Provides a SmartStart Interview that highlights and enables configuration of powerful Compaq server features, such as Automatic Server Recovery (ASR) A Compaq SmartStart and Support Software CD ships with each Compaq server. As each version of SmartStart is released, it supports the current version of SCO UnixWare. It also knows how to handle any previous version. If you obtain a later release of a SCO OS, you probably need to get a newer version of SmartStart.
